The inaugural Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards launched this past weekend (28 September 2018) and over 350 esteemed guests graced the evening. Guests included influential business contacts, representativeness from the NHS, the Fire and Rescue Service, Bournemouth University, AFC Bournemouth, and the corporate world.
The Red Carpet experience is a part of the Awards Evening where the whoâs who of Dorset, influential individuals like the Mayor and all nominees can be interviewed and showcased to the public on live streaming and broadcasts. DEMA worked in partnership with two media powerhouses which included Zimlink /Inphotopia and Manchester-based TV broadcaster PBTV.
Individuals attending the event are encouraged to walk on the public red carpet and post pictures on social media. However only the âcelebrities of the eveningâ will be interviewed and showcased live on media channels.
Touch of Class who were Red Carpet Experience sponsors for the event said they had received huge interest in their services following the event and had received lots of inquiries due to their brand being advertised on the Red Carpet backdrop.
Mandla Stone, DEMA Chief Brand Officer “This is an opportunity for all our guests to experience the glitz and glam associated with being on the Red Carpet and celebrity. I’m glad our sponsors got maximum exposure via the backdrop logos. We encourage all our guests to take full advantage of the Red carpet area to pose and take as many photos to post on social media. Next year we hope to extend the experience to increase benefits for our sponsors and guests. “
